Slot Strategy #1
find a slot game which is in your affordability range. It is unlikely that you will hit it big on your first pull of the slot game so make sure you're playing a game which your bankroll will afford you to play for a while. So if you have $50, don't go play a slot game with a $20 max bet.  You just wouldn't be giving yourself much of a chance at winning. Slots are a gambling venue which is made to payout less often,  but with more of a payback. So if you limit your number of pulls then you limit your chances at hitting that payback.

Be certain you understand the payout table for your chosen slot game before you begin. Many machines require you play at "max bet" in order to be eligible to win the big jackpot.

some machines however do not require you to play at "max bet" in order to get a decent payout. "Max bet" may still pay slightly better on the jackpot but as long as it isn't too much difference you might be willing to give up the difference in order to be able to better manage your bankroll. What I mean by this is that say you are playing a 2 coin machine, as long as the payout isn't a big difference from 1 coin to two (meaning that if jackpot for one coin is $100, and jackpot for 2 coins is $220, that's not much difference);  you can use the strategy of betting one coin when you're not hitting and betting two coins when you do start hitting. Luck is streaky,  often times this will prove true with slots as anything else so when you're getting lucky,  bet 2,  when you're on a cold streak, bet only one coin. When the slot machine has a definitive bonus for playing maximum wager ... follow slot strategy #5.
